2024’s gotta be one of my top 3 years and this beer perfectly sums it up. First time abroad for an FSAE event, plus TUM’s freshly stored and chilled beer? Ahhh, man… probably the two best weeks of my life.

Just picture it: You and your friends camping with tons of strangers who share the same skills, working on your car by day, then drinking and bonding by night. Hats off to TUM for the free beer distribution (only if you had a cup, though).

It was pure perfection, the vibes immaculate, the timing flawless.

This wasn’t just beer it was magic on tap. Straight from TUM’s kegs, it poured like liquid gold, so unnaturally smooth you’d swear they filtered it through victory laps. The taste? Cold bliss first that perfect chill numbing your throat after a day of sweaty wrenching. Then came the subtle notes: fresh-baked malt, a whisper of honey, and a clean finish. No metallic bite, no weird aftertaste, just crisp, chuggable relief that made you forget it was 5% ABV. Dangerous stuff. We drank it like water, and it went down easier than a car’s suspension on the straights.
