Everything has a first time and mine came very vividly. I still remember it: post-12th-grade meetup at a brewery, back when I was still an alcohol virgin. I caved for the first time and ordered my first beer ever: a Kingfisher Ultra.
At the time? I absolutely detested the taste of malt.
But here I am today. Maybe we judged it too harshly. Maybe it deserves a little slack.Fast forward to today - that same beer is now my nostalgic "default option" when nothing better's available.
